Welcome to the online submission form for the Elmar Oliveira International Violin Competition (EOIVC). All applicants must be at least 16 at the time of the original submission date (September 30, 2016) and no older than 32 by the conclusion of the competition on February 5, 2017. All submissions, including a $100 entry fee, must be received no later than October 28, 2016 in order to be considered.
The EOIVC aims to give a young and talented violinist the tools necessary for building a strong foundation for success in the arts industry by providing financial support, as well as career development in the areas of artistic management, public relations, and performance opportunities.
Finalists will be notified by email by December 1, 2016.

Your video submission must adhere to all of the following criteria:
Video and audio must be of high quality.
Each excerpt must be recorded in a single, continuous take.
Do not include titles, fadeouts or video transitions.
The excerpts can be recorded separately and then must be edited together into a single video.
Applicants may only submit one video.
Auditioning performer must be clearly visible and unobstructed.
Recorded within the last 12 months of submission.
If you don’t have a video camera, a cell phone or webcam is a great alternative.
DVDs and CDs will not be accepted.
Failure to meet any of these criteria may result in disqualification.
